Contacting us safely

If you are a defender in a high-risk situation, please consider your digital security before contacting any organisation — including PHRD. Standard email is not always secure.

We recommend using encrypted communication where possible. If you are unsure how to do this safely, we can provide guidance — but please assess your risk level first before making contact via any channel.

01Use a secure, encrypted email provider such as ProtonMail for sensitive communications
02Consider using Signal or another end-to-end encrypted messaging app for initial contact
03If possible, contact us from a device and network not associated with your regular identity
04Do not include sensitive case details in initial contact — wait until a secure channel is established
